Structured Dog Daycare

Each day at Big Heart Canine is carefully crafted to provide an optimal experience for your pup. From structured and supervised socialization to exploration walks on our beautiful farm, your furry friend will have plenty of opportunities to engage with others and discover the wonders of their surroundings. We understand the importance of decompression time and ensure that your pup has ample opportunities to relax and recharge. Additionally, our food-based enrichment program adds an extra element of excitement and mental stimulation to their day.
For an additional $20 per day, you can upgrade your dog’s daycare to include training.
Overnight Boarding

At Big Heart Canine, we offer more than just a fun-filled day of structured daycare for your furry friend. We understand the importance of peace of mind for pet owners, which is why we also offer overnight boarding services. However, please note that in order to ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs, we require that they be crate trained before boarding overnight. This requirement allows us to maintain a peaceful and stress-free environment for every dog in our care. So, whether you're going out of town or simply need a night off, consider our boarding services for a worry-free experience for both you and your furry friend.
We accept intact dogs as well as dogs with behavioural concerns like reactivity, aggression, and low confidence.

Price Varies
“Ready For The World” Program $2810
This 3 week program prepares your dog for real world experiences. Included in the training is: leash training, exposure to different environments, proofing obedience, and recall training. This program includes 2 follow-up appointments in your home to assure the dog is transitioning well.
E-collar Foundations $1210
This one week program teaches your dog how to understand e-collar communication. It includes an e-collar in the cost. The brands that we provide are either Dogtra, SportDog, Garmin, or ECollar Technologies.
Custom programming available but price varies on length of the stay and what training is being provided.
Private Training Appointment

This method is the best option for reactive, fearful, and easily stressed out dogs. This program is totally tailored to you and your dogs’ needs. With daily communication, no need to set appointment times or wait weeks for an hour long session, we’re able to fast track your dog’s training and answer questions as soon as you have them.

Our socials are structured to pair dogs with the same play style, temperament and often times their size as well. We regularly group the dogs in even numbers and the socials can be anywhere from 4 to 8 dogs in size. We only house a maximum of 18 dogs in our facility at a time for boarding, daycare, and training.

For daycare, drop off is between 7:30 am and 9 am. Pick up is between 4 pm and 6 pm.
For overnight boarding Monday - Friday our drop off and pick up times are the same as daycare.
On the weekends, our hours are different. We only have a morning time frame for pick ups and drop offs. You can only bring your dog or pick them up between the hours of 9 am and 11 am on the weekends.

Whether your dog is coming for daycare or boarding, our day is structured to include two rounds of supervised socialization for each dog, exploration walks on our property, decompression time, and food based enrichment.
The dogs go for a break in the middle of the day to prevent overstimulation and agitation. They are kenneled with calming music playing for their break time.
